The members of UK Konkans held the Biennial General Meeting (BGM) on 29th March 2015 to elect Office Bearers for the years 2015-17. Arun Cutinha led the prayer invoking God’s Blessings on UK Konkans and its members. The outgoing president – Mrs Esthela Vaz welcomed the members and applauded the support and cooperation of office bearers during her tenure as President of UK Konkans. She also thanked the members and sponsors for their continued support. Thomas D’Souza, the Treasurer presented the accounts for the last two years.

The new president –Tom D’Souza thanked the efforts of previous committee and set out plans for future activities of UK Konkans.
The committee agreed to hold picnic on 28th June 2015 and Christmas Celebration on 20th December 2015.
He also promised to continue with UK Konkans’ policy of keeping cordial relations with other Mangalorean Associations in the UK. He also requested all Mangaloreans living in and around London to become members of UK Konkans and contact him through our website or by emailing info@ukkonkans.com for further information.
